Apologies that they're not in well order! Very much in progress.
Italics - some headcanons thrown to bridge things.
Bold - facts that only appeared in the anime, however holds some possibility.
* - Speculation/Not fully confirmed as of yet.
Canon:
> Regarding Rozen Maidens
- The earliest record that could be found regarding the maidens and it's creator were from the 20th centuries, later in the chapters it is believed they had lived longer than that.
- They have Rozen's signature and series number etched on their right inner thigh.
- Ball jointed dolls.
- If not careful, their medium will die when the doll uses to much power.
- Being that said, if they become too close with the doll, in the N-Field, their appearance will transform into the doll and soon later they will die and be absorbed completely by the doll.
- Each seven dolls are failed attempts made by Rozen to recreate the perfect girl, Alice.
- One can easily consider them as one girl split into seven individual as they can be considered as 'sisters'.
- To accept the contract, the human must kiss the ring that the doll had placed on them.
- The ring that both the doll and master wear creates a bond between the two. The ring will feel warm to the doll, putting the sign that the master is still alive.
- The ring also seems to make the doll be able to read the master's mind to some extent, but this had not been touched recently in canon or that it requires the master and doll to be in the same dimension.
- Even if the contract has been retracted, the previous master will still have a scar from the ring.
- Kirakishou was able to use Souseiseki's body as a host during the time Lempicka was in Suigintou's possession. She tore her apart. She soon able to emerge when instead of Kirakishou's, adult!Jun kissed Souseiseki's ring. She however was official 'alive' until temporarily, Suiseiseki gave Sweet Dream to her.
- Unlike Kirakishou or Barasuishou (see below for info), Shinku's mishaps in the Unwound world reveal that a maiden couldn't be in two places at once. Shinku used a temporary body, however, she also had her real body even in suspended animation. Hollie accompanied her replica body while Berrybell guarded her real body in Kirakishou's world. The replica body crumbled after a week, the head survived however but only because it was Shinku's real head.
- Being separated from the master too long will cause the doll to be exhausted and requires to be wind up again.
- The maidens are able to cry, eat and drink without much trouble. It seems that they can also gain weight, though it could still just be Suigintou insulting Shinku at the time.
> Regarding the Rosa Mysticas and the Alice Game
- Only when all seven maidens are awake then the Alice Game begins, it seems that it also required that all Maidens must be in possession of a medium for the game to officially begin.
- There are loopholes to the contract however, a master can hold more than one contract with a doll. Jun currently is in contract with Shinku, Souseiseki and Suiseiseki. In the past, he also had a contract with Hinaichigo.
- Likewise, it seems Kirakishou's case is that she can make a 'seedbed' and harvest powers from various people she put under suspended animation, making her a doll with dozens of contracts.
- Kirakishou's case also seems to grant Megu, previously Suigintou's master and currently Kirakishou's, health.
- The artificial spirits seems to have a personality of it's own, or at least act like another version of the doll. Somewhat, at least. Lempicka is shown to seem to act like Souseiseki, Suiginto's Meimei shows kindness.
- Later chapters revealed that the losing doll must willingly give their Rosa Mystica to the winner, otherwise if stolen or against the doll's will, the other will suffer from the Rosa Mystica never fully settling. Case point: Lempica makes Suigintou feel strange, Berrybell however gets absorbed in Shinku's body just fine.
- It also seems like the doll whom posses another's Rosa Mystica will able to detect strong feelings of the original's, perhaps a certain memory of theirs. These can be supported by the previous fact above.
- A non-maiden doll can absorb a Rosa Mystica, but it will crumble to pieces if absorbed all or nearly all of the Rosa Mysticas due to being overwhelmed. This was shown by the fake seventh doll, Barasuishou. However, it seemed that Kirakishou was just fine using a non maiden body as a temporary vessel. It is however still a mystery what would happen should she have absorbed her sisters' rosa mystica.*
N-Field
- A realm that exists and not at the same time, it holds doors to many worlds.
- These worlds can range from dreams to alternate timelines to current thoughts of someone nearby.
- Each doll has their own world, it tends to shape their personality or vision.
- Confirmed that Kirakishou, who is not astral and has never set foot in the human world before, takes shape a fake world that are endless corridors.
- Shinku's is of an empty mansion.*
- Hinaichigo's is a land filled with toys, sweets and covered in bright colors.
- One of the alternate worlds is that a world where Jun did not pick 'to wind', also known as the 'Unwound' world. Since then, there are no Maidens in that world.
- Accessing the N-Field requires a surface of reflection, like a mirror or the eyes of person closed. Also, it can't be just any reflection.
- Suiseiseki and Souseiseki's powers help them access the N-Field far easier.
- This is also true for Kirakishou, who once had a (temporal) body is able to send her minions to any place she pleases.
>Regarding Kanaria
- Master/medium is a office lady who works in the IT department and is a huge nerd for dolls.
- Said master frequently asks her to pose for photos and wear clothes she sewed herself.
- She has a verbal tic which is かしら ('I wonder', 'maybe', 'perhaps'), it seems to be purely habit but she can drop it during serious situations.
- Favorite food is tamagoyaki.
- Micchan calls her Kana/Kana-chan.
- She is somewhat creeped out by Micchan's hobby however loves her very dearly.
- Observant, actually fairly smart. Still failed 63 times finding the others though.
- Competent fighter. In fact, Suigintou remarks her powerful when she gets angry, more so than Shinku. Supported the fact she was able to defend Jun from Kirakishou during the earlier part of the Unwound arc, and is the only one able to destroy Kirakishou's illusions in later chapters.
- Just that her quirks gets in the way.
- From the latest chapters, it seems that Kanaria is closer to Suigintou than Shinku, she doesn't understand her ambitions before Tale 49.
- Shinku remarks that out of the sisters, Kanaria and Suigintou are the most eager participants of the Alice Game and aren't interested in anything but the outcome.
- That is to say, she isn't that very goal oriented as much as she was during the beginning. She just didn't realize she had become more than a doll that fights for her father's love.
- However, it seems that she still regards her bond and love with Micchan as different in comparison to what she gets with Rozen, though it seems to be more of her own view than what is going on. (Which then Shinku retorted that there must be something more than just fighting if the dolls had to bond with their masters to participate in the Alice Game.)
- She used an e-mail to get to Micchan.
- She's not very fond of salty flavors.
- Micchan has Kanaria as her phone's wallpaper.
- Kanaria is fond of Detective Kun-Kun just as any of the dolls.
- Her wind up key is shaped differently from Shinku's thanks to being an older generation, it's unknown if she could use Suiseiseki or Souseiseki's however.
>Kanaria's relationship with the other maidens.
- Suigintou finds her annoying, though she seems to be genuinely impress by Kanaria's strength. She also seems to get along better with her than the others.
- Suiseiseki calls her the most stubborn out of the maidens.
- Souseiseki seems to be at least rather civil to her.*
- Shinku never really spends quality bonding with Kanaria, as pointed that Kanaria felt like she didn't know her all too well.
- Hinaichigo has a childish rivalry going on with Kanaria, Kana was extremely distraught when she found out that Hinaichigo's body was destroyed.
- Out of all the maidens, Kirakishou points out tenderness as Kanaria's trait.
>Kanaria's power are that of relating her violin, what's show so far;
-Fermata - "A fermata is a symbol of musical notation indicating that the note should be prolonged beyond its normal duration or note value would indicate."
-Prestissimo - "In as fast a tempo as possible. Used chiefly as a direction.
-Crescendo - "In music, dynamics normally refers to the volume of a sound or note, but can also refer to every aspect of the execution of a given piece, either stylistic or functional."
-Sonata for Fantasia, first movement.
